ERYNGIUM GIGANTEUM
Our next exciting exhibition in the Woolstore Art Room are of recent photographs by Catherine Cattanach, drawing inspiration in particular from a sea holly called Eryngium Giganteum. The plant is also known as “Miss Wilmott’s Ghost”, after the nineteenth-century gardener Ellen Wilmott, who liked to secretly scatter its seeds in other people’s gardens.
Come and check out Catherine’s photos from 1st July until 31 August on level 1 The Woolstore Art Room.
